Celebrating Milestones with Gratitude

This year, we celebrated many milestones, including Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center’s 50th Anniversary "Art is Medicine" Gala. After half a century of transformative work, Sylvester has become a beacon of hope for those impacted by cancer. Throughout the year, there have been great advances in research, patient care, medical education and health care access. We share our deep gratitude for philanthropy, the engine that helps us reach our goals. As we enter a new year, we honor the donors, faculty, physicians, and staff, who make a difference every day for the communities we serve. Read More.

WHY I GIVE

“Together, with Dr. Abreu and my parents, we realized there was a void in the Miami community and really no one place an IBD patient could go to get their medical needs met. That’s how we started the process of fundraising to build a center dedicated solely to IBD.”
