Help us #BeatFSU off the field during Rivalry Week 2022

The football rivalry between the University of Miami and Florida State University dates back to 1951 when the Hurricanes defeated the Seminoles 35-13 in their inaugural meeting. Since then, the two universities have had one of the most intense rivalries in college football, playing 66 games of which the ’Canes have won 35.

Let’s #BeatFSU: Rivalry Week challenge in support of scholarships

As we get excited for the competition on the field, help us beat Florida State University off the field and show them that when ’Canes come together, we are unstoppable. Join us during the week starting Sunday, October 30 and ending at 11:59 p.m. (ET) on Saturday, November 5 for our Rivalry Week Challenge.

Our goal is simple: to have more alumni donors participate than FSU – any donation of $5 or more from undergraduate alums will count towards the challenge. And all gifts, including those from graduate alumni or ’Canes fans, support scholarships that open doors to opportunity for current and future ’Canes.

’Canes Takeover Watch Party

Not going to the game? Join us for a ’Canes Takeover Watch Party at one of four alumni-owned and supported breweries in the Miami area. This is your chance to celebrate Alumni Weekend and Homecoming with fellow alumni, parents, fans, and supporters as we cheer on the Hurricanes to victory during this rivalry matchup. Proceeds will benefit the Miami ’Canes Community Scholarship Fund.
