A look back at Spring 2026 Commencement

More than 4,500 undergraduate, graduate, law, and medical students walked across the Watsco Center stage as the University of Miami celebrated its newest alumni in eight degree ceremonies held over four days this May.

Among the distinguished speakers were former Miami Hurricanes and NFL great Greg Olsen, who challenged graduates to “just get better, forever,” and actor Danny Ramirez, who highlighted the importance of believing in oneself. Health care policy expert Steven Ullmann encouraged new alumni to explore, experiment, and find their passion—and to help others find theirs.
