More than 4,500 undergraduate, graduate, law, and medical students walked across the Watsco Center stage as the University of Miami celebrated its newest alumni in eight degree ceremonies held over four days this May.
For each undergraduate and graduate commencement ceremony, the University of Miami Alumni Association invited a select group of alumni marshals to march in the academic procession as they welcomed the newest members of the Cane family.

Be a part of the annual Memorial Day tradition to place American flags upon grave sites located at the South Florida National Cemetery. Alumni, friends, and family are welcome to volunteer and commemorate the contributions of the men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces and their families. If anyone needs a letter confirming volunteer service hours, we will be happy to provide one.
Jacksonville Canes Day of Service: Beach Clean-up with Surfrider First Coast

New York Canes at Yankee Stadium: A Night in the Bronx
Join the New York Canes at legendary Yankee Stadium as the Yankees host the Cleveland Guardians and the Boston Red Sox. Here, school pride meets baseball tradition in a celebration of connection, camaraderie, and Canes spirit in the heart of the Bronx. Make sure to wear your orange and green!
Family Weekend, which will take place September 24 – 27, is an annual tradition that brings more than 5,000 family members to campus to spend meaningful time with their student while experiencing all that the University of Miami has to offer. Advance registration is required and is completed through your Proxy/Delegate Access account in CaneLink. If you haven’t already created an account, we encourage you to do so in advance so you’re ready when registration opens.
