School of Law
As the calendar year draws to a close, I wanted to reflect on another great year at the University of Miami School of Law. The spirit of determination, innovation, and collaboration that energized the start of the school year continued to thrive throughout the year. Our students and faculty excelled, and the engagement and support of our alumni have both inspired and propelled our ongoing momentum. Beyond our academic accomplishments, we also have exciting developments on the facilities front. I’m delighted to share that we have officially broken ground on the new Chaplin Courtroom—a state-of-the-art courtroom and gathering space that will elevate our students’ practical training and further strengthen our standing as a leader in legal education.

Also around the corner is January 1, 2026, which marks a truly remarkable milestone for our institution: the School of Law will begin its centennial anniversary. That is an incredible achievement, and we are going to celebrate it in style! Our year-long celebration will feature signature lectures, a “Law 100 Tour” visiting cities nationwide to connect with our alumni across the country, and the much-anticipated return of a beloved tradition—the former “Beer on The Slab”—now reimagined as Beer on The Bricks.

This will be a collective celebration of a century of leaders in law. I urge you to stay tuned for event invitations, social media highlights, and more as we honor this incredible milestone. With that, I invite you to enjoy below some of our top stories from the past few months.
