’Canes Lounge is the biggest and best Homecoming party around. Gather and celebrate with fellow alumni and friends of the U; enjoy special performances by the Band of the Hour, the cheerleaders, and Sunsations; and get front-row seats for the boat-burning and fireworks. Advance ticket purchase is required, and all ticket proceeds benefit student scholarships.

Football Game Watches
Are you ready for some Hurricane Football? Join fellow ’Canes and friends across the country this fall to support our student athletes and cheer for your Miami Hurricanes. And ’Canes in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties have access to discounted tickets to watch home games at Hard Rock Stadium. Gather up your orange and green gear and get ready to have some fun. Join us at the Student Village in the Whitten University Center to celebrate the academic excellence of our Black University of Miami scholars and hear updates from the Division of Student Affairs, the Center for Global Black Studies, and others. Refreshments will be provided.

Be our guest at the Kislak Center as we celebrate the accomplishments and contributions of our LGBTQ+ students, alumni, and allies, and share campus community highlights. Meet and mingle with old friends, make new ones, and enjoy an opportunity to network with fellow LGBTQ+ ’Canes. Refreshments and light bites will be served.

We invite ’Cane veterans and friends to rendezvous at the new Veterans Resource Center and Veterans Student Organization suite. Visit the spaces, meet the center’s inaugural director, and interact with current members of the Veterans Student Organization. Light refreshments will be provided.
